Undergraduate learners of English. The aim of this book is to provide a new approach to learning English by providing literary pieces of educative and informative value. The learners are exposed to a wide range of literary English texts "Essays, Short-stories, One Act Play and Poems. Purposeful learning experiences are presented in the form of a variety of exercises that are useful, effective and relevant. Each lesson comprises the literary text of a genre; and each text in addition consists of an introduction to the author, main idea of the text, a glossary of difficult words and comprehension exercises.
