We are an Australian social enterprise dedicated to making textbooks and learning resources available to all learners regardless of their means. We have secured the support of publishers from around the world that share this belief. Our team consist of educators, software developers, educational researchers and experienced learning and development specialists.
LearnerLibrary.com was created in response to a seemingly intractable problem. The four founders were the driving force behind a charitable effort to deploy textbooks and learning resources to economically disadvantaged high schools and colleges in India, and Zambia. The team facilitated the donation of over 20,000 textbooks to colleges in Africa. However, it became apparent that a more sustainable strategy was needed. With the need to provide adequate compensation to existing publisher groups in mind, as well as the desire to expand the reach of their book provision efforts, the team created LearnerLibrary.com.
Our web platform, LearnerLibrary.com makes available over 3,000 university and high school textbooks and learning resources (with approximately 200 new titles added every couple of months), that we are making available gratis to low income communities.
